Game records, puzzle progress and settings are stored on your device. AI computation, live camera recognition and default photo recognition run locally. No camera frames or selected photos are uploaded for these local features. The system photo picker provides only the image you select; camera permission can be revoked in Settings.
Only after you choose Cloud Enhancement and consent, the selected image is redrawn and compressed as JPEG, sent through Cloudflare to the Anthropic API, and the result returned for review. The redrawn JPEG does not include the original EXIF location metadata. Our relay does not persist photos or log their contents. Network providers may process IP addresses and necessary request diagnostics.
Providers apply their own retention and security policies. Anthropic generally retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, with safety, legal and other exceptions; uploading does not imply immediate deletion. Select board photos without unnecessary personal information. You may decline cloud upload and continue using local recognition and manual setup. Provider policies are linked above.
Nearby Duel uses Apple Network.framework over a local network or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi to exchange nicknames, moves and clocks directly between devices, without our server. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Local Network permission are required. This operates separately from optional cloud photo recognition.
No ads, analytics or account registration. We do not use data for cross-app advertising tracking. You can delete local saved games or uninstall the app to remove its local data. Data you voluntarily sent to a third-party provider is subject to that provider's retention and deletion policy.
